How TGB Works

The Carbon Credit Journey

The Trees for Global Benefit project is a carefully designed pipeline that turns landowner interest into verified carbon credits — and those credits into real income for families.

Only indigenous species are planted. This ensures long-term ecological benefit alongside the economic returns for participating landowners.

Mobilisation & Registration

MIFA identifies and registers landowners expressing interest in the tree-growing programme.

Verification & Agreement

Landowners are verified by Eco-Trust and sign a formal agreement outlining terms and conditions.

Seedling Distribution

Inclusive financial products that serve communities with faith-based finance needs.

Planting & Monitoring

Landowners plant seedlings and both organisations monitor establishment through regular field verification.

Payment & Certification

Eco-Trust remits payment to MIFA's SACCO account; MIFA distributes funds to landowners based on certified trees.
