MUBUKU INTEGRATED FARMERS ASSOCIATION
welcome to the MIFA LTD (Mubuku Integrated Farmers’ Association Ltd) website.
We are a limited company by guarantee and are engaged majorly in environmental sustainability and livelihood improvement interventions.
We have been operative in these two areas since our inception in 2009. We have hitherto concentrated our activities in Kasese district, which is our home district.

MIFA'S
Restoration Journey
We have been operative in these two areas since our inception in 2009. We have, hitherto concentrated our activities in Kasese district, which is our home district.We have partnered with different organizations, both government and non-government. The former has mainly been through the Ministry of Water and Environment which has supported MIFA LTD to implement restoration of degraded river banks and watersheds as well as livelihood interventions like fish farming and tree growing since 2015. In 2021, MIFA LTD won and signed a contract with the Ministry of Water and Environment to implement a World Bank funded project, “Non-Consultancy Services for Supporting Implementation of Priority Catchment Management Measures in Downstream Nyamwamba.”

Muramba fish farmers group is found in Bugoye sub-county- Busongora North county Kasese District.
Muramba is a village endowed with river Ssebwe that serves water for production to Mubuku Irrigation scheme.

Our process covers three major steps thus inception, planning and execution

We build project road maps including project plans, project scopes, projectschedules, project constraints, work break down structures and risk analysis. This ensures smooth execution

Here we get the work done and ensure that all service providers, consultants get the job done. All our tasks are completed in a timely manner while work-flow continues smoothly until closure of project
