Eco-Trust Uganda is MIFA's longest-standing NGO partner. Together they implement the Trees for Global Benefit (TGB) carbon credit project in Kasese District, especially in Busongora North constituency - mobilising landowners, verifying plantings, and distributing payments.

PARTNER SINCE 2009
MIFA has partnered with Uganda's Ministry of Water & Environment since 2015 to train Water Resources User Groups (WRUGs) and implement the LEAF II Project, restoring degraded hotspots along river banks and watersheds across Kasese District.
