Our Story
A Community Built on Purpose
MIFA Limited is a company by guarantee with offices in Mubuku Town Council, Kasese District. Since 2009, we have been at the forefront of environmental restoration and community empowerment in the Rwenzori region.
Through strategic partnerships with government ministries, NGOs, and local communities, MIFA has transformed how people interact with their environment — turning conservation into a vehicle for prosperity.

To increase household income for the Associations’ members through improved Agricultural production and collective marketing.
To mobilize resources; financial human and material locally and internationally, for the furtherance of MIFA goals and objectives.
To put in place and operate a vibrant credit and savings cooperative union Major activities carried out by the company have majorly centered around conservation of natural resources, restoration of degraded hotspots, livelihood improvement interventions and rural financing.
